Why are we collecting this data?

The Combined Authority is collecting this data to identify and understand perceptions of safety issues associated with bus use. All questions about your personal data are optional, however, we have asked for this information as it helps us to understand the different needs of people.

The legal basis

We will process your data under ‘public task’, which means it will help inform us in our duties to the public, in relation to transport planning and service improvement.

Who are we sharing this data with?

We will anonymise the information you provide and share it with South Yorkshire Police (ICO registration no. <SOUTH YORKSHIRE POLICE REGISTRACTION NO.>) to help inform areas that need patrols.

How long do we keep your data for?

We only keep your information for as long as we need it to analyse the results. After this time has passed, we will safely delete your information in accordance with our information retention policy.
